The NSW Government’s nation-leading Electric Vehicle Strategy has seen almost $500 million dollars invested into tax cuts and incentives to drive everyday Aussies towards purchasing an electric vehicle. While within his portfolio, Minister Constance has set an ambitious target to transition the state’s entire bus fleet to electric by the end of the decade, with his attention also turning to the future of electric ferries. Transport for NSW is also transitioning to net zero greenhouse gas emissions and is implementing the Future Energy Strategy, which will reduce emissions by up to 90%.
