Sam is dedicated to advancing resilient and inclusive cities. With over two decades of experience across Asia, the United States and Australia/New Zealand, he has collaborated with governments, businesses, and communities to address climate risk and accelerate the climate transition. Currently serving as Director of Resilience at the Committee for Sydney, Sam has previously held senior roles at Arup, the Rockefeller Foundation and Asian Development Bank.
Sam’s work reflects a commitment to place based solutions, systemic change and long-term impact. Sam is a Non-Executive Director of Green Cross Australia, a Fellow of the Planning Institute of Australia, and Adjunct Professor (Industry) at the University of Technology Sydney Centre for Climate Risk and Resilience.
