Matt Crocker is a strategic advisor at Plenary, a leading developer and investor in public infrastructure projects. He is also a strategic advisor for the Susan McKinnon Foundation, where he leads the McKinnon Poll, providing policymakers insight on public opinion. He also holds an advisory role at UTS focusing on TAFE-university collaboration and precincts. In addition, Matt is Deputy Chair of the Sydney Institute of Marine Science, Deputy Chair of the Biennale of Sydney and sits on the NSW government advisory board for Macquarie Technology Group.
Prior to this, Matt was Policy Director for three NSW Premiers – Gladys Berejiklian, Mike Baird and Barry O’Farrell between 2009 and 2019. In the corporate sector, Matt has been Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of Strategy and Business Development for health insurance company Manchester Unity and has been a senior advisor on public policy and corporate reputation issues for Westpac. Matt also has a background in the energy sector, as a senior advisor at the Australian Energy Market Commission.
