 
				Susan Wheeldon has been at the helm of Airbnb as Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand since October 2019. Prior to joining Airbnb, she spent four years at Google, where she led various teams, including Head of Government, Performance, and Agencies. With over 20 years of experience spanning technology, e-commerce, legal, travel, and property sectors, Susan is deeply passionate about the future of tech.
Susan’s career includes a successful tenure as Vice President at Groupon, recognised by Forbes Magazine as ‘the fastest growing company in history,’ and as Head of Brand & Retail at AMP Capital, which delivered more than $5 billion in revenue from the firm’s 38 retail assets across Australia and New Zealand. Additionally, she has contributed to the growth of the Virgin Blue and Virgin Atlantic brands after beginning her career in law firms in both Australia and the UK.
Susan holds an MBA from the University of New South Wales’ AGSM, a Corporate Directors Certificate from Harvard Business School and serves on numerous boards, including as a Non-Executive Director for ASX-200 property group Centuria Capital and as an Advisor to the start-up venture capital fund No Brand.
