James Rosenwax is the Regional Managing Director of AECOM’s NSW and ACT business.

He leads a team of over 800 professionals (engineers, planners, designers, scientists, economists) across four offices delivering multidisciplinary infrastructure consulting services that shape and enhance communities.

His background in landscape architecture, environmental management and the built environment provides James with a unique perspective that is sought out by industry. He has contributed thought leadership to various publications and, as previous host of AECOM’s Talking Cities Podcast, interviewed some of the industry’s brightest and most innovative minds to lead discussion on the future of our global and regional centres.

James’ passion for sustainability and resilience aligns with AECOM’s commitment to deliver sustainable legacies through its project work. You’re more likely to find him sitting next to you on the bus, or passing you on the bikeway, than next to you at traffic lights.
