James Rosenwax

James Rosenwax leads the AECOM Buildings + Places business across Australia and New Zealand. Buildings + Places is focussed on delivering design excellence in the built environment. The team includes technical disciplines ranging from architects, urban designers to building engineers and cost and project managers. Under James’s leadership they are connected by a single purpose, to create outstanding buildings and connected places that enhance the quality of people’s lives.

In his role, James is responsible for bringing together the best ideas and insights from across the globe to help clients unlock hidden potential and create brilliant cities. Whilst at AECOM, James has led the a number thought leadership publications and the Talking Cities Podcast which have all provided unique insights on the most pressing issues facing our global and regional cities.

James’ background in landscape architecture, environmental management and business leadership gives him a unique point of view when providing strategic advice and direction on multidisciplinary urban development, city shaping infrastructure and public realm projects, at local and international scales.
