The Committee for Sydney has welcomed two new leading Sydney figures to the Executive Board; Sarah Hill of HillPDA and Brett Clegg of News Corp.

Announced by the Committee for Sydney Chair, Lucy Hughes Turnbull, AO, at the Committee’s recent AGM, the election of Sarah and Brett sees them join an existing Board of influential Sydney decision makers who are passionate about challenging the city to be great.

Dr Tim Williams, CEO of the Committee, was delighted to welcome Sarah and Brett, both representatives of long standing Committee member organisations, into their new positions.

“Sarah Hill is a leading figure in Sydney’s planning community and will be a great asset to the Committee for Sydney Board. Her international experience and in depth understanding of Sydney’s planning, design and governance issues, positions her to make a great contribution to the thought leadership of the Committee.

“We are also delighted that Brett Clegg has been elected to the Committee for Sydney Board. His understanding of the media landscape and of the issues that matter to Sydneysiders through News Corp campaigns including, ‘Fair Go for the West’, together with his passion for the Arts ensure that he will bring a unique perspective to the Committee Board, as well as to his Chairship of the Committee’s Liveability, Loveability Taskforce.”
