7 May, 2019
Kindly Hosted by Dexus

Night Time Economy Solutions is a think tank that specialises in working with towns and cities to design creative solutions to enduring problems of safety and vulnerability in the night time economy. They have worked alongside a number of cities in the UK and internationally, on subjects such as creating night time economy strategies, vulnerability management and strong partnership working.

They combine years of experience of working in partnership with police forces, police and crime commissioners, Business Improvement Districts (BIDs), local authorities, hospitals, universities, licensed premises and voluntary organisations to help them design innovative solutions that can reduce crime and vulnerability and improve safety and vibrancy.

Members joined us for an online presentation from Jo Cox-Brown and Sylvia Oates, founders of Night Time Economy Solutions. Their presentation was followed by a panel discussion which also included:

Dan Evans, Deputy Managing Director | Ipsos Australia
Allison Heller, Director of Social Strategy | Ethos Urban
Dr Andy Marks, Assistant Vice-Chancellor | Western Sydney University
James Hulme, Director of Advocacy, Committee for Sydney (moderator)

The Committee would like to thank Dexus for generously hosting this event.
