Kindly Hosted by Lendlease
The Committee for Sydney, in partnership with Lendlease, invite you to join us to discuss how we create spaces that develop a language for dialogue about difference, while validating certain truths that lay dormant in the landscape.
We were delighted to have the following esteemed design practitioners explore the idea of how we connect cities and places to the shared and disparate stories of our communities and how design can be an act of power:
Walter Hood, Professor and former Chair of Landscape Architecture at the University of California, Berkeley, and Principal of Hood Design Studio in Oakland, CA
Alison Page, descendant of the Walbanga and Wadi Wadi people of the Yuin nation, storyteller, designer and filmmaker.
Kevin O’Brien, Architect at BVN, and Professor of Practice at University of Sydney.
The Committee would like to thank Lendlease for generously hosting this event and securing our impressive panel.
