India, China and Australia’s place in a changing Asia

The Committee for Sydney recently partnered with Asia Society Australia to hold an event which examined the future of Australia’s relationship with India in the context of the broader Asia-Pacific region, drawing on the the Federal Government’s recently published India Economic Strategy and how cities like Sydney can develop closer economic ties with India.

The event was chaired by Committee for Sydney board member Sally Fielke and included a panel discussion with:

–  James Crabtree, Associate Professor at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy
–  Sheba Nandkeolyar, Board Member of the Australia-India Business Council
–  Jonathan Pearlman, Editor of Australian Foreign Affairs
–  Hervé Lemahieu, Asian Power & Diplomacy Program Director at the Lowy Institute
